Two Time All Star catcher for the Atlanta Braves, Brian McCann was selected by in the 2nd Round of the 2002 June free agent baseball draft. Bolstered by his .343 batting average with 6 home runs and 29 RBIs during the first half of the 2006 season, McCann was named to the National League All-Star team. McCann continued to excel during the second half, hitting .333 with 18 home runs and 64 runs batted in. McCann finished the season batting .333, with 34 doubles, 24 home runs, 41 walks, and 93 RBI in just 483 plate appearances.
