This belief was a factor in his accomplishment in becoming a member of one of the most prestigious National Basketball Clubs in the world.
Career Statement – Who is Jeff Sanders?
Jeff Sanders is a former Professional Basketball Player who was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 1st round (20th overall) of the 1989 NBA Draft. Sanders played for the Bulls, Charlotte Hornets and Atlanta Hawks in 5 NBA seasons. He played collegiate at Georgia Southern University. He played professional basketball for 16 yrs in the NBA, European Leagues, and the CBA. He is recognized in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia by the Richmond County Board of Commissioners by receiving the Outstanding Athletic Achievement Award. Jeff owns the Georgia Southern school single season record for points scored. The school honored him by retiring his jersey (#42) which was only the second in school history. He was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at Georgia Southern where he has broken and set many records from minutes played to points scored. He has varied experiences in coaching, mentoring as well as student athlete training.
