Making his Yankees debut in 1995, Jorge Posada was born on August 17, 1971 in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Posada was drafted by the Yankees in the 24th round of the 1990 amateur draft. He is a switch hitter and has been to six All Star Games over his 12 year career.
