The 2nd pick in the 2007 NBA Draft for the Seattle SuperSonics, Kevin Durant was born on September 29, 1988 in Washington, D.C.. A 6'9" shooting, small forward, Durant was the consensus 2007 National College Player of the Year, in addition to being selected as the 2006-2007 Big 12 Player of the Year, amongst other awards. After his freshman season at the University of Texas, Durant opted to enter the NBA Draft, where he was selected second overall.
