23, 1985 in Antioch, California. He was drafted in the second
round (60th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. Drew graduated from national
football powerhouse De La Salle High School in Concord and played three years of college
football at UCLA before declaring himself eligible for the NFL draft after his
junior year.
In his two-plus seasons in the NFL, Maurice Jones-Drew has proven to be one of
the most versatile running backs in the league. At the beginning of this season,
Maurice Jones-Drew was considered arguably the best running back from the Class
of 2006.
Jones Drew finished tied for 2nd in the balloting for Offensive Rookie of the
