Adrian Gonzalez AppearancesBoston Red Sox slugger Adrian Gonzalez made a special appearance at MLB’s Fan Cave in New York City during his series with the Yankees, one of sports’ biggest rivalries. He played wiffle ball, PlayStation and pool with the Cave Dwellers. “I try and get a little bit of time in here at the Cave,” Gonzalez said. “It’s awesome. First time here, it’s a lot of fun. Everybody that’s here always has a good time.”

He’s been on a tear as of late after a slow start in the first half. Adrian was named the AL’s most recent Player of the Week, after batting .429 (12-for-28) with three homers, 12 RBIs and five runs scored in seven games. That week, he was first in RBIs, tied for first in homers, tied for second in hits, tied for third in total bases (21) and tied for sixth in batting average.

Located at 4th and Broadway in Greenwich Village, the redesigned MLB Fan Cave hosts fan events, concerts, MLB player and celebrity appearances, as well as the nine Cave Dwellers who are attempting to watch every game of the 2012 MLB season while chronicling their experiences online through videos, blogs and social media. If you are a baseball fan and happen to be in New York City, the Fan Cave is a must stop for any sports nuts. For the married guys, this place offers your wife plenty of decorating ideas!
