Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon took the time to sit down with some fans at Hooters of Kennesaw, Georgia on Thursday, October 2. Not only did Weatherspoon enjoy some wings and a couple cold beverages with fans, he also signed autographs and hosted a football viewing party as a way to Support Our Hooters in the fight against breast cancer.
As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research the Hooters Girls are touring the United States making appearances and signing autographs at select Hooters locations. Their appearances are a part of the #SupportOurHooters campaign and raises funds in support of The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
Sean Weatherspoon, known as “Spoon” by Falcon faithful, joined the Falcons in 2010 as a first round pick. In college Spoon earned All-American honors at Missouri as a sophomore in 2008 and earned First-Team All-Big 12 honors all three years for the Tigers. In four seasons in Atlanta he has recorded 290 tackles to go along with 8 sacks and 2 interceptions. Falcons fans love him for his endearing personality and willingness to help out the community.
