Former American football player Beanie Wells will be the guest speaker for the 27th Annual Sports Night which is going to be hosted by The Freedom Township Men’s Club on April 8th in Napoleon, Ohio. This will be a great opportunity for sports fans to get to hear from one of the star players they see on television all the time, and he will be sharing some of his exciting stories from his career in the NFL. Every Sports Night that has happened over the last nearly three decades has been a hit with the crowds, as they get to have a more intimate experience and look into the lives of the guest speakers. Tickets to get into the event will cost $25, and includes a dinner that starts at 6:30pm. For those who would like to get places early, the doors will open up at 5:30pm.
This year’s guest Beanie Wells played for three years with the Arizona Cardinals as one of their hottest running backs on the team. He was the 31st overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and made his professional football debut in a big game against the Green Bay Packers in August of 2009. Wells in as native of Ohio and even went to college at Ohio State, making the 2007 All-Big Ten first team.
