Carli Lloyd Guest AppearanceUnited States Women’s National Team star Carli Lloyd will be making an appearance on January 26 at The Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, California. Lloyd will be talking about how she had to muster up a lot of confidence and determination to get those goals in the Women’s World Cup finals. In addition to that, she will be partaking in a Q&A session following her time on the stage. The event is being put on by the UCSB Arts & Lectures and will cost $35 per person for adults, $15 per student, at $5 per child to get into the talk. Tickets go on sale on December 11th and can be purchased on the UCSB website or at The Arlington Theater.

The Delran Township, New Jersey native has been involved and playing soccer since the young age of five, and it was soon discovered that she had a lot of talent for the sport. She attended Rutgers University and ended up playing for their soccer team during her college years, where she was recognized for her fabulous ball handling. Currently she plays on the Houston Dash, but she has also spent some time on the Western New York Flash, Atlanta Beat, Sky Blue FC, Chicago Red Stars and the New Jersey Wildcats. Lloyd has been a part of the national team since 2005 and is going to be a name to remember for years to come.

Lloyd will be making a guest appearance at The Arlington Theater on January 26th to discuss her path to success and inspire others to follow their dreams in the same fashion.
