Charlotte Hornets Frank Kaminsky returned to Benet Academy in his hometown at the end of July to host his Hoopmasters basketball camp. There were a number of campers that ranged from ages 8 to 15 who showed up at the clinic, and many of whom spent years idolizing Kaminsky. Despite the fact that this camp is a marketing tool, the NBA star also really enjoys giving back to his community and to have some fun with the local kids.

In 2014, Kaminsky was named as the Big Ten preseason player of the year and his college team were even thought to win the Big Ten Championship. He entered the 2015 NBA Draft where he was selected in the first round as the 9th overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets, with whom he still plays with today. Even though this will only be his second season in the pros, a lot of people expect to see him in action on the court with some big plays.
Kaminsky returned to his hometown of Lisle, Illinois this summer to host a basketball camp at his former high school. He is a true community idol and leader, and his clinic was a huge success with his young fans.
