Booking-Deion-SandersNorthwest Florida is in for a treat as Prime Time aka Deion Sanders will be in town guest speaking at the All Sports Association 44th Banquet. In previous years, the banquet has had guest speakers like Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban, former Florida and current South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier as well as Terry Bradshaw, Lou Holtz and Jim Kelly.

Florida State University legend and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders is excited to be added to that all-star line up of speakers. Each of the previous years speakers have have helped raise well over $105k to the local YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Special Olympics and various other youth sports projects.

The Current All Sports Association President is also excited about having Sanders attend and recently shared these thoughts:

“We like to seek out an athlete with a great accolades from their time on the field as well as a reputation of responsibility and character off the field, Deion Sanders definitely fits that mold.  Personally, I also like a speaker who has been a television professional as well as a professional athlete.  Deion’s experience as a commentator for the NFL Network is evidence of his skills as a speaker.”

The President of the ASA said it best as he is not only a professional athlete, but an entertainer with miraculous character. For those looking to catch the two-time Super Bowl champion and perennial all-pro performer in action, make sure to clear your calenders on February 8th, 2013 when Deion Sanders will be joined by USC QB Matt Barkley at the Emerald Coast Convention Center.
