Wrestling legend Diamond Dallas Page was recently accounted to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on February 20th. The actual ceremony will take place as a part of WrestleMania weekend that is set to happen at 7:30 p.m. in Orlando on March 31st. He is no doubt thrilled to be a part of this history and it is going to be a very memorable event for all of his fans, family, and himself. A couple of his former colleagues, Scott Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts have both credited Page with being worthy of such a big title, and it is finally his time this year.
The Point Pleasant, New Jersey first began in the wrestling business in 1988 at 32 years old where he took on the role as a manager in the American Wrestling Association. He worked there for nine short months before signing on with World Championship Wrestling where he eventually became a wrestler as well. Page is a two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion as well as a three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and has wrestled and several events all over the world. He currently makes appearances with WWE as of 2011.
Page will be officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during the WrestleMania weekend event happening at the end of February.
