The graduation will begin at 6:30 p.m., and every family will be given three tickets initially and the rest will be handed out on a first-come first-serve basis.
The Oak Park, Illinois native was born into a sports-loving family as she is the daughter of a former commissioner of the American Basketball Association and general manager of the Indiana Pacers Mike Storen. She attended the University of Notre Dame in 1983 where she earned her bachelor’s’ degree and got her first job at a local television station, the then- Notre Dame owned NBC affiliate channel WNDU-TV. Her experience there led her to land a job at CNN, but after three years she was hired by NBC to cover various big-time sports stories. Some of her notable coverage included tennis at the French Open and Wimbledon, the 2004 Presidential Election, and the 2010 NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers.
Storm is speaking at the Greenwich High School graduation ceremony this June and is no doubt going to be well received by the entire audience. Not only is she a well liked television personality, but she is also inspiring to both men and women and motivates them to reach their potential in life.
