Former Texas Longhorns football coach Mack Brown is going to be the featured speaker at Big Reds Football Coaches Clinic in Nebraska on April 4th. The event will take place at the Memorial Stadium and tickets to get in cost $50 if they are purchased before March 25 and $65 there after. The clinic is designed to give current coaches some information and tips on how to manage their teams and also offer a good meeting place to meet other people in their profession.
Brown has coached for a variety of establishments including Florida State, Memphis State, LSU, North Carolina and a few others, but he is most remembered for his time at the University of Texas. Under his guidance his football team at Texas won the 2006 Rose Bowl against the University of South Carolina, and conquered their division rival, Oklahoma State seven times between 1998 and 2013.
At the end of 2013, two-time Big Coach of the Year announced that he was retiring from his coaching career to pursue other goals and spend more time with his family. Brown will give a speech at the Big Reds Football Coaches Clinic this April which is a week from the Red-White Spring game.
