Former NBA player Antonio Daniels has recently become one of FOX Sports Oklahoma’s newest analysts for Thunder Live pregame and postgame shows. The Senior Executive Producer of the station is the one who made the announcement a few days ago, and the crew couldn’t be happier to have the basketball player join their team. For home games, Daniels will be working with host Lesley McCaslin and for away games he will be paired with John Rhadigan along with the broadcast team, Michael Cage and Brian Davis to give their perspective before and after every Thunder game. Daniels knowledge of basketball and experience is expected to play a huge role in his success as an analyst, and it will also be a great way to draw in new viewers.
The Ohio native got his career started by playing basketball for Bowling Green State University where he attended from 1993-1997. He entered the 1997 NBA draft and was selected in the first round as the fourth overall pick by the Vancouver Grizzlies with whom he played with for two years. Before his retirement from the NBA in 2011, Daniels had played with a number of other teams including the San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, Washington Wizards, Seattle SuperSonics, New Orleans Hornets and the Philadelphia 76ers.
The point guard has been recently announced to be a new analyst for FOX Sports Oklahoma, and there is no doubt that he will have a lot of insight and knowledge to bring to the table.
