This March 3rd, Myron Rolle will be the keynote speaker at this year’s CSU’s Athletics Diversity Summit at Moby Arena. The third installment of the event is sponsored by the Denver Broncos Institute for Sports Management at CSU.
Myron Rolle is a Houston, Texas native was actually raised in Galloway Township, New Jersey. After playing his high school football at the Hun School of Princeton, Rolle was ranked the top overall high school prospect by Rivals.com. Rolle committed to Florida State University and didn’t disappoint on the field or in the classroom by making the All-American and winning the Rhodes scholarship. Rolle announced in 2009 that he would forgo the NFL Draft for one year to study at Oxford University. In 2010, Rolle was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round and signed a four year contract with the team. In 2012, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Rolle to a reserve/futures contract and subsequently retired in 2013 to pursue his medical degree at Florida State University where he still is today.
