Former NFL quarterback Joe Theismann has been selected to deliver the keynote speech at The WorkBoat Show in New Orleans which is taking place this winter between the dates of December 1-3. Each year the WorkBoat Show seems to be attracting new and more visitors to the event, as it is one of the best places on the planet to see the latest and greatest working boats in the present day market. There will be over 1,100 exhibitors as well as a comprehensive conference program that shows paths on five different industry tracks. Theismann will be giving his speech on the first day, December 1 at 1 p.m. and he will be sharing some of his personal experiences both on and on the field, and how to adapt yourself to succeed under pressure.
The Super Bowl XVII champion started building his reputation in football during his years in college playing for Notre Dame by leading his team to becoming a ranked team. In the 1971 NFL Draft he was picked by the Miami Dolphins, but chose to play for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League instead for the first two seasons of his career. By 1974 Theismann was back in the USA and went on to join the Washington Redskins for 11 years, and even led them to their first championship in four decades. After retiring from the sport he served as a color commentator on and off for big TV networks like ESPN and the NFL Network.
The 1982 Walter Payton Man of the Year will be speaking at the end of the year at The WorkBoat Show happening in New Orleans. Registration for the event is now open.
