Bryan BickellFormer NHL player Bryan Bickell is scheduled to be the guest speaker for this year’s Miles For Mo event that’s happening on June 15 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Toronto, Canada. Tickets to get into the event will cost $50 and all proceeds will benefit The MS Society of Canada. Along with admission, drinks, silent auction items, and food will be provided. During his talk, Bickell is expected to share some fun stories about his time in the NHL as well as the things that he did to overcome some of the more difficult experiences that he encountered. It should be an educational, motivational, and inspiring event for everyone who decides to attend.

The Orono, Ontario native practiced both baseball and hockey while growing up in Canada. Even though he was scouted at one time by the New York Yankees, he chose to focus his professional career on playing hockey. Prior to landing a spot on any team, however, he had to work many construction full-time jobs to keep up with his budget and earn a living while waiting for his dream career. He entered the 2004 NHL Entry Draft where he was selected in the second round as the 41st overall pick. Bickell stayed with his Chicago team until his retirement earlier this year on April 8, 2017, just before his last professional game on the ice against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Bickell will be in Toronto later this month on June 15th for a two-hour event between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to take part in this year’s Miles For Mo fundraiser. All money raised as this function will go directly to the MS Society of Canada. It will be a fun-filled evening, so get your tickets today if you live in the area!
