ESPN analyst and Former Notre Dame Coach Lou Holtz has been announced as the keynote speaker for the VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference that is happening between October 18-23 in San Antonio, Texas at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country. The theme of the conference this year will be Vision, Innovation, Performance, Action, and Results, and Holtz will be presenting at a luncheon on October 22 with his speech titled “Game Plan for Success”. The VIPAR Heavy Duty president Steve Crowley has made a statement that everyone is very excited to hear the former coach come this year and it will be a very inspiring and motivational event.
The West Virginia native attended Kent State University where he played as a linebacker for the football team, and after graduating from the university with a degree in history in 1959 he started to lean towards a career in coaching in 1960. He spent 8 years as an assistant coach for five different universities before he finally became a head coach for William & Mary University in 1969. Over the next 35 years, Holtz coached for many other educational establishments but is most well known for his time working at Notre Dame where he was for a decade. These days the former coach makes a lot of time to give motivational speeches to lots of different companies and athletes, and he has also been a sports commentator for CBS.
Holtz will be this year’s keynote speaker at the VIPAR Heavy Duty Annual Business Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The former Irish coach is going to be a huge draw to the event and many sports fans will have a great time hearing what he has to say.
