Former Seattle Seahawk Marcus Trufant helped announce the latest partnership between the Seahawks and the Talking Rain Beverage Company this summer during one of the Seattle team’s training camps at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center. The team and the fans were excited to hear the news about this latest joint effort, and the Talking Rain representatives handed out lots of product samples and Seahawks co-branded items. As a nod to the loyal Seahawks fans, also known as “The 12s”, the drink company is going to release a special variety 12 pack of Talking Rain beverages that will feature the Seahawks logo on them. The company and the football franchise are going to work together this season to create giveaways and other fun surprises for the locals who have proven time and again how loyal they are to their team.
The Washington native Trufant went to college at Washington State University where he was a starting cornerback all four years on their football team. He entered the 2003 NFL Draft where he was picked by the Seattle Seahawks as the overall 11th pick, and stayed with the team for his entire nine year career, He briefly went to join the Jacksonville Jaguars but never played a game for them in 2013, so right before his retirement in 2014 he signed a one day contract so he could retire a Seahawk.
Trufant was present this summer at the Seahawks training camp to help announce the team’s newest partnership with the Talking Rain Beverage company, and it will be a great season full of specialty items and exciting giveaways thanks to their participation.
