Hall of Famer Julius Erving held the Julius Erving Golf Classic event from September 12 through September 14th. The three day event kicked off with a youth basketball clinic at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center in the outskirts of Philadelphia, and even his own daughter helped run the clinic with some one on one coaching with the kids. The following day there was the Elite Partner Practice Rounds at Aronimink Golf Club which was proceeded with a fancy dinner event with cocktails at The Rittenhouse Hotel. And finally on the last day the Erving Golf Classic tournament took place back at the Aronimink Golf Club where the women were able to enjoy champagne and caviar with Erving’s wife. Overall it was a very successful event and it brought a little bit of class and fun to everyone who had an opportunity to participate.
