Prior to the main event, Tebow will spend some time with a limited number of donors, sponsors, and honored guests with a 90 minute VIP session. The school has dedicated their work to helping and assisting children in transforming their lives for the better.
Tim Tebow is a Makati, Philippines native who, while playing for Ponte Vedra Nease High School, played an entire second half with a broken fibula. The injury held him out the rest of his junior season but Tebow became a major college football prospect. After a senior season that included a state title and the title of Mr. Florida, Tebow decided to play for his parent’s alma mater at Florida. Although Tebow played his whole freshman season for the Gators coming off the bench he still found a way to impact the game including finishing second on the team in rushing and assisting the team in winning the BCS National Title in 2007. The following season Tebow showed his immense ability that included breaking SEC records such as most rushing touchdowns with 20 and total touchdowns with 55 and a Heisman Trophy win in which he received more votes than runner up Darren McFadden. In 2008 Tebow would break the school record for rushing touchdowns previously held by Emmitt Smith and helped lead the Gators to another national championship over number one ranked Oklahoma and after the season declared he would return for his senior season at Florida. In 2010, Tebow was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos and primarily played as a back-up for the Broncos during his rookie season. After a rough start to the 2011 season the Broncos named Tebow their starter and began a winning streak that would ultimately sneak them into the playoffs which also included an overtime win against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the playoffs. After the signing of Peyton Manning, Tebow was traded to the New York Jets and the following year began his broadcasting career for the SEC Network.

The event will look to have a great turnout for the first installment of the event and with Tebow they have definitely created a buzz around the benefit.
