Three tennis players who have big names in the sport are going to be venturing out to South Korea to sign autographs and compete in Seoul at Olympic Park SK Stadium on November 12th and 13th. John McEnroe, Pete Sampras, and Marat Safin are the stars who will be heading out East to Asia this month and they are expected to be met with lots of praise and admiration. They will also be participating in the 2nd Annual Kia Cup, which is part of the ATP Champions Tour.
McEnroe is a German-born American athlete that won the mixed doubles at the French Open in 1977 as an amateur, Over the course of his career, he claimed 78 titles including five wins at Wimbledon and four at the US Open. Sampras was born in Washington D.C. and became a professional tennis player at the age of 16 in 1988. He officially retired in 2003 with 64 titles under his belt, and was at one time ranked No. 1 in the world. Marat Safin is a native of Russia and is the brother of Dinara Safin, which makes the pair of them the only brother and sister duo to both rank No. 1 in the world in tennis history. Before he retired, he claimed 15 world titles and pursued another career in politics.
