NFL analyst Jon Gruden has been announced as this year’s keynote speaker for The Jaguars Women’s Association’s hosted event, “Meet Me at 50”. The presentation will be held on October 13th in the US Assure Club West at EverBank Field, and tickets to get in will cost $75 per person. In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all of the proceeds will directly benefit the organization, “In The Pink”, which is a non-profit boutique that supports women living with breast cancer. Gruden will be a fabulous addition to the lineup, as he has lots of experience with overcoming obstacles and persevering and will be able to contribute to the topics of this year.
The Sandusky, Ohio native came from a family heavily involved in the sports world, as his father was a former professional football scout for Tampa Bay and also served as an assistant to the then head coach of Notre Dame. Gruden eventually went on to school at Muskingum College in Dayton, and afterwards he went on to serve various coaching positions with a number of professional teams. Over the course of his career, he also was head coach for the Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In fact, he won the Super Bowl with Tampa Bay in 2003 and retired in 2008.
Gruden will be speaking at this year’s Meet Me at 50 event that will be hosted by The Jaguars Women’s Association this fall. It will be both a fun and informative night of raising awareness for breast cancer, and there’s no doubt that Gruden will have some interesting stories to tell.
