Former Super Bowl Champion quarterback Ken “The Snake” Stabler will host the 2013 XOXO Invitational charity golf tournament in Point Clear, Alabama on March 7-9, 2013, to benefit Ronald McDonald House of Mobile, Alabama.
The four-time Pro-Bowler is best known for the decade he spent with the Oakland Raiders from 1970-1979, leading the Silver and Black to victory in Super Bowl XI. As a junior at the University of Alabama in 1966, he became the full-time QB for the Tide and led his team to an undefeated, 11–0 season that ended in a huge defeat over Nebraska in the Sugar Bowl.
These days Stabler gives much of his time to help ill and injured children, remarking of the upcoming event, “We are thrilled to be back at the world-class Grand Hotel, furthering our mission to raise awareness and funds for charitable causes like the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile.”
