The NBA’s Most Valuable player Stephen Curry has just been signed on a multi-year partnership with the company JBL to help with marketing and advertising program development for social media and television ventures. The two-time NBA All-Star player is only the second ambassador from the NBA, along with Damian Lillard, to collaborate with JBL in this type of deal that will hopefully be a win-win situation for everyone involved. Curry will be assisting the company in creating some integrated content that could be used for marketing all over different internet platforms that could both generate more revenue and build up his popularity with fans even further.
Curry began his sports career when he played for his college, Davidson, between the years of 2006 and 2009. He was the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft and was picked up by the Golden State Warriors with whom he still plays with today. It turns out that Curry isn’t the only one with amazing basketball skills, but it comes down with his heritage as the son of the former NBA player Dell Curry who played in the league from 1986 through 2002. In 2015, Curry was named the NBA Most Valuable Player as well as the NBA Three-Point Shootout Champion, so he is really starting to peak in his athletic abilities.
It was announced recently that the Golden State player has signed a deal with JBL to become a part of their marketing and advertising team to develop social media content, and it is going to be interesting to hear about what his contributions will be.
