The event began at 5:00 p.m. and was raising funds to support the Humane Society of Pinellas County with a buffet and music program before the dogs came out to put on a fashion show. Reed stayed with the team for eight years before doing two brief terms with the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins just prior to his retirement in 2000. Afterwards, the 7-time Pro Bowl athlete appeared on a few sports-related TV shows such as ESPN2’s “First Take” and served as an analyst on NFL on Fox.
