Steve Young Speaker FeeThis upcoming May, Host Analytics will hold the Host Analytics World 2016 at the San Francisco Marriot Marquis. The event will have none other than Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young as the keynote speaker. Young will speak on his experience achieving record setting performances and navigating change to attendees looking to take their game to the next level in both professional and personal settings.

The Salt Lake City, Utah native Steve Young ultimately played high school football for Greenwich High School in Greenwich, Connecticut. While in high school, Young established himself as a duel threat quarterback and was heavily recruited by the University of North Carolina to play in the triple option offense they were currently running. Young decided to attend BYU where he developed as a passer and took over for Jim McMahon and had an outstanding senior season that saw him throw for nearly 4,000 yards, over 30 touchdowns, and a NCAA record setting 71.3 completion percentage. Young averaged over 350 yards from scrimmage that senior season and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001. After a short career in the USFL, Young signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but after two seasons with the Bucs, Hall of Fame coach Bill Walsh believed Young’s talents were being wasted by the organization and traded for the multi-talented quarterback who sat behind Joe Montana for three seasons before getting the starting nod from Walsh. His second season as the starter, Young won the MVP award behind an NFL leading 25 touchdown passes and a quarterback rating of 107. After another record setting season in 1993, Young would take the following year to the next level by helping the San Francisco 49ers to the Super Bowl and ultimately winning the game by a score of 49 to 26 on the back of a Super Bowl record six touchdown passes from Young himself. After four more seasons, Young would declare his retirement and has since been a staple on ESPN’s Monday Night Football while also doing multiple philanthropic duties as well.

This upcoming May, Steve Young will be featured as the keynote speaker of the Host Analytics World 2016. Host Analytics is the leader in cloud-based enterprise performance management and will have Young speak about record setting experiences and experiences navigating change. The event will look to have a great turnout and with Young in attendance that expectation should prove to be reality.
