In addition to that, he went into detail about how he had to overcome more than pain to truly be successful in the NFL. It was a very interesting and informative conversation, and there is no doubt that his listeners and fans gained a lot of respect for the Placekicker.

In 2009 Gano went undrafted in the NFL, but he was able to sign with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent shortly after. Although he didn’t get any playing time with the team as they recently signed on Steve Hauschka at the time, so he found a way to sign on with the Washington Redskins where he stayed until 2011. After being released from the Redskins, Gano was invited to try out for the Carolina Panthers in 2012 and he still remains there to this day. He has worked extremely hard to get where he is and is very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the big sporting world.
