Rocky BleierSteelers legend Rocky Bleier has been announced as the keynote speaker for the Leadership Best Practices with Healthcare & Hospitality Executives at Phigenics’ Water and Legionella Risk Management Summit that is happening on April 23. The big event will take place at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel where he is expected to discuss why teamwork is essential and how it impacts the facility water management community. In addition to that, Bleier is also going to share stories about his life in the NFL as well as his time in the U.S. Army, and how teamwork played a big part in both of those roles. It is going to be a very interesting and informative function, and Bleier is one of the best speakers they could have acquired for this summit due to all of his experience and wisdom.

The Appleton, Wisconsin native got his football career started while he played on the team for the University of Notre Dame and was even a member of their 1966 National Championship team. He was selected in the 16th round of the 1968 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but was also drafted by the armed forces that same year and was sent to Vietnam. During combat he was injured so severely that it was thought he would never walk again, but his determination begged to differ and he even made it back to the NFL.

Bleier is going to take part in this year’s Phigenics’ Water and Legionella Risk Management Summit that is happening at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel later this spring. It is looking like it will be a jam-packed event, so attendees should prepare to get their tickets for it ahead of time.
