STEM Utah will be holding their first school assembly on Tuesday, October 21 at 1:10 p.m., and they have tapped seven year NFL veteran Bryan Kehl as their guest speaker for the event. The assembly will be held in the new Olympus High School Commons in Holladay, Utah and will feature a live one-hour webcast including Kehl’s speech.
Kehl, who is currently a free agent, was drafted by the Giants in the 2008 NFL Draft out of BYU. Since 2008 he has seen time with the Giants, Rams, Chiefs and Redskins and been a valuable contributor on the defensive side of the ball. When he heard about the STEM program he became a huge advocate, and will be speaking to the students at the assembly about the importance of STEM education. His appearance will also serve to help build excitement around the STEM Action Center’s updated website and contests.
