Muhammad Wilkerson and Jerrel JerniganNew York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson and New York Giants wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan will be co-hosting the Jernigan and Wilkerson Football camp on July 7-10, 2014. The camp is for newcomer and seasons players alike, ages 7 to 18, to learn individual and team techniques on both offense and defensive positions. Both overnight and day camp options are available and it will be held at William Patterson University.

Each day of the camp will offer instruction, lectures, and demonstrations by Jernigan, Wilkerson, and members of the Giants and Jets. The college and high school coaches on staff will ensure each practice will be filled with in-depth instruction, lectures, and demonstrations. Campers will be grouped by age, position, ability and experience to allow coaches to progressively teach basic and advanced techniques to best benefit each group.

Wilkerson was selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the New York Jets and earned All-Pro honors in 2013 after posting 64 tackles, 10.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception. At age 24, Wilkerson is one of the upcoming stars in the NFL at his position.

Jernigan joined the Giants in 2011 after a stellar career at Troy University as a wide receiver and kick returner. During his first year with the Giants he was a part of their 2012 NFL Super Bowl Championship team, and has since scored two touchdowns on 351 receiving yards. Heading into the 2014 season he looks to continue being an instrumental part of the Giants success.
