Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson has recently signed a deal with BRANDBLACK as one of their newest athlete endorsers. BRANDBLACK is a men’s performance sportswear clothing line, and both Jackson and the company are excited about this new partnership. The football player made a statement that he is thrilled to be a part of the BRANDBLACK family and that this deal is the perfect fit for him as he is extremely active both on and off the field and he feels that they have a strong future together. The company will also be releasing the clothing line “DJX”, which was designed and inspired by Jackson’s lightning speed playing football.
The Los Angeles native was recognized during high school for his athletic skills as he was voted the MVP during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas and the winner of the 2004 Mr. Football Player of the Year award. He ended up attending the University of California on a sports scholarship, and after graduating in 2008 he entered the NFL Draft that year where he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round. After five years with the Eagles, Jackson signed a $24 million dollar three-year contract with the Washington Redskins, and was voted the 64th best player of all time by the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players in 2014.
Jackson is excited about his new partnership with BRANDBLACK performance sportswear, and it won’t be long before he will see his own brand line on the shelves with them.
