Denver Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas will be showing back up to Colorado a little early this year to put on a youth football camp at Mullen High School on July 18-19 for kids in grades from first through eighth. Registration per player costs $199 and everyone will get an autograph along with a team photo in addition to hands-on experience and fundamental training from one of the league’s best players. The two day camp may be a once in a lifetime experience for many young athletes and is sure to be a huge success. This will be an extra special event because it is being held in the city for which Thomas plays for professionally, which makes it hit a little closer to home for the fans who get to attend.
The three-time Pro Bowl player got his start into the sport by playing for his university, Georgia Tech, and he was selected as a first round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos where he still plays today. The 2013 AFC Champion was also the year’s receiving touch down leader, and he is currently in talks with the team about extending his contract for a more long term spot. Just a couple days before his youth football camp takes place he will find out whether or not he will be continuing his career with Denver or if he will be going to another team to play, so this could very well be the last summer that Thomas is in Colorado as a Bronco.
The Georgia native will be holding a two day youth football camp for school age children this summer from July 18-19, and it is sure to be a lot of fun while still being loaded with a lot of sports education too.
