Bobby Orr Book SigningNHL Hall of Famer and Bruins Legend Bobby Orr signed copies of his book “Orr: My Story” on October 17 in Framingham, Massachusetts at The Paper Store. Hundreds of fans showed up to the event hours before it was set to begin, and by the time he sat down to begin meet fans and sign copies of his book, the line stretched down the street. Even though he had been doing press for the book all day prior to the event, Orr took the time to chat, make jokes, and tell a few stories with fans as they came up to get their copy of the book autographed. His book, which tells his life story and his life as an NHL player, was released Tuesday, October 15 and is available in book stores now.

Orr, who played 12 seasons in the NHL, 10 with the Boston Bruins and two with the Chicago Blackhawks, is considered one of the greatest hockey players all time. During his career with the Boston he helped the Bruins win the Stanley Cup in 1970 and 1972, was named the NHL Rookie of the Year in 1967, MVP in three consecutive seasons from 1970-1792, was named an NHL All-Star eight times, and NHL Defensive Player of the Year eight times. Despite preferring to stay out of the spotlight since his retirement in 1979, Orr has been a great ambassador for the NHL and hockey all over the world.
