Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb returned back to his hometown of Alcoa, Tennessee on May 16 to hold his annual football clinic, USA Football Fundamentals Football Camp, at his former high school, Alcoa High. Cobb really enjoys hosting this day camp so that he can provide the young football players some inspiration to keep doing their best and always shoot for their dreams. During his time with the kids on the field he showed them key exercises that they should be doing to get stronger, some game strategies, but most important of all he show them how to have a great time on the field.
The 2014 Pro Football Focus All-Pro played for years at the University of Kentucky, where he set the all-time record for total touchdowns with 37 of them. It wasn’t much longer before he was selected in the second round of the 20111 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers, and he still plays for the team today. The 2014 Pro Bowl player is also the record holder for single-season all-purpose yardage in the Southeastern Conference.
Every year Cobb likes to return home to his town of Alcoa to show kids what they can achieve if they work really hard and push themselves to their limits. He gave them an inspiring speech to kick off his annual football day camp and encouraged them to show the world what kind of great people come out of Alcoa.
