Darius MillerNew Orleans Pelicans forward Darius Miller is teaming up with fellow Maysville native Chris Lofton to host their 2nd annual basketball camp in Maysville, Kentucky on June 23-25.

The camp is open to youth ages 6-16 and will be divided into two sessions by age group. Campers ages 6-10 will enjoy a morning session from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and campers ages 11-16 will close out each day with an afternoon session from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. The cost of the camp is $100 and registration will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of each session on the first day.

Included in the cost of the camp are a free team picture and a picture with both players, a limited edition Nike camp shirt, an autograph from both players on the last day of the camp, lunch and a snack at the end of each session and the opportunity to learn basketball skills from both Miller and Lofton. Guest speakers will also be on hand to speak to the campers.

Darius Miller is a graduate of Mason County High School in Maysville, Kentucky and was named the 2008 “Kentucky Mr. Basketball” after leading the Royals to a state championship during his senior year. After high school he matriculated to the University of Kentucky and led the Wildcats to an NCAA National Championship during his senior year in 2012. Due to his ability to come in and contribute off the bench he was named the SEC Sixth Man of the Year in 2012. Since being drafted in the 2nd Round by the New Orleans Hornets in the 2012 NBA Draft he has been a solid contributor and consistent performer at basketball’s highest level.
