pete rose speaking feeLegendary Cincinnati Reds player Pete Rose will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Thanks for Giving Benefit Luncheon which will take place on November 24 in Manheim at Spooky Nook Sports. Tickets to get into the luncheon will cost $90 per person and you must get them ahead of time to ensure that you have a spot, as they will not be sold at the door. There will also be packages available for sponsorship deals that will include access to a VIP reception for Rose, but those need to be inquired about in advance too. The 17-time All Star player will likely be speaking to the audience about his many baseball achievements as well as talk about why this fundraiser is important to the community.

The three-time World Series champion holds the record for baseball’s all-time leader in hits with a total of 4,256 to his name. Rose, a Ohio native, not only ended his playing career with a two year span on the Cincinnati Reds, but he also started out with them during the beginning by doing 15 years with them from 1963-1978. After he retired from playing he switched to be the manager for an addition five years. Between the years of 1979 and 1984 he also briefly joined the Philadelphia Phillies and the Montreal Expos as well. Now years after he left the Reds, it was announced just this past April he will be a guest studio analyst for the MLB coverage on Fox Sports, and he made his debut on the show on May 11, 2015.

The legendary baseball player will also be speaking this fall at the Thanks for Giving Benefit Luncheon in Manheim, and for just $90 fans are guaranteed a seat at the event.
