Steve Smith AgentBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith will be hosting a youth football camp for the local kids who live in Howard County, Maryland this summer. The two day clinic will take place over the weekend of June 18 and 19 and is open to boys and girls of all skill levels in grades one through eight. The cost of the camp will be $149 per participant, and each kid will get their own chance to interact with Smith Sr. and get his autograph in addition to a team photo of everyone. Aside from the NFL player, some coaches and teachers from nearby high schools and colleges are going to be attending in order to help run things. It should be a fun event for every youngster that gets to attend, and it will hopefully be a great chance for them to work on some of their athletic skills.

The Los Angeles, California native was a star athlete during his high school years while he attended University High School, and was even a letterman for both football and track and field. He ended up attending Santa Monica College where he joined their football team and earned a starting position fairly quickly. Smith Sr. entered the 2001 NFL Draft where he was selected in the 3rd round as the 74th overall pick by the Carolina Panthers, with whom he stayed with for 12 seasons before signing a three year contract with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. The five-time Pro Bowl Player has had several career accomplishments since joining the NFL, including being the all-time Panthers leader in yards received.

Smith Sr. will be hosting a youth clinic later this month in Howard County, and it’s going to be a lot of fun for all those who participate.
