Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has recently teamed up with Robocopp and Pine Bros. Cough Drops as their brand ambassador, which are the athlete’s first two deals after this summer’s Olympic games. The heads of the companies felt that Lochte made a name for himself at this year’s games and that they could benefit from being tied to such a fantastic sportsman in the pool. Robocopp is a security app that Lochte will be advertising that he never leaves home without, and Pine Bros. Cough Drops will use his name to endorse the product as we enter the flu and cold season.
The Rochester, New York native got a start in swimming at a very young age, but it wasn’t until the age of 14 when Locthe decided to really train hard to become a champion in the sport. He later on attended the University of Florida where he joined the diving team for the Gators and twice won the NCAA Swimmer of the Year and was a seven-time NCAA champion. Lochte first began swimming for the United States swim team at the 2004 Athens Olympic games, and returned for the following three summer Olympics after that.
The American swimmer has returned home from Rio and has already jumped right into the advertising world, as he struck deals with both the Robocopp app and the Pine Bros. Cough Drops as their newest brand ambassador.
