Danny Green CampSan Antonio Spurs star guard Danny Green will be joining Spartan Basketball for the Spartan Shooting Boot Camp on June 9-13 at Castle Hills Baptist School in San Antonio, Texas. The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day and is open to all boys and girls of all skill levels from 3rd to 12th grade. All campers are encouraged to bring their own lunch and snacks each day.

The Spartan Shooting Boot Camp offers players the opportunity to learn the process, practice the process, and then master the process of shooting the basketball. At the camp the drills are structured for high repetitions, maximizing the campers opportunity to master the process of shooting. The camp also provides campers with a comprehensive knowledge of the game so they can understand where to shoot, teaches them separation moves to create shots, and allows them to review NBA game film to study and learn from the best shooters in the game, like Danny Green.

As one of the best shooters in the NBA, Danny Green is uniquely qualified to be a guest instructor at the Spartan Shooting Boot Camp. While playing at the University of North Carolina he led the Tar Heels to an NCAA National Championship in 2009 and also became the only player in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) history to post 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, and 150 three-pointers during his career. Since being selected in the 2nd Round of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers Green has been one of the top three point shooters in the NBA for both the Cavs and Spurs. Proving his shooting ability, Green set the record for most three-point field goals made in a Finals’ series in the 2013 NBA Finals.
