Russell Wilson Keynote FeeSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has recently partnered up with SonicsArena Group to help put together some efforts in bringing a professional hockey and professional basketball team back to The Emerald City. Chris Hansen, who is associated with the group too commented that they couldn’t be more enthusiastic about having Wilson on the team. Many sports fans are aware that Seattle team supporters are a very fiery bunch, so there’s no doubt that this city could get into having another team or two in other professional sports.

The 2014 Super Bowl Champion and 2015 Super Bowl Player is one of the few athletes out there who has been drafted to play two different professional sports: baseball and football. Wilson played both sports during his college years and was drafted to the Colorado Rockies in 2010. However, in 2012 he informed them that he would be pursuing a career in professional football, and was drafted to the Seattle Seahawks shortly after that. Some people questioned Pete Carroll’s choice when he selected Wilson as a quarterback, but he has really stepped up to the game in the last couple of years and has become an icon for the team itself. He is also known for participating with many charities and doing lots of product endorsements, so it is needless to say that Wilson will only be getting more popular through time.

Wilson has announced that he is partnering up with Chris Hansen and the SonicsArena Group to try and revive a more diverse sporting culture in the city of Seattle. Hopefully the NBA and NHL will return to The Emerald City in just a few years.
