With his life in the hands of God he continued to lead a successful NFL career and ended up kicking for 19 years in the NFL, and despite adversity like off-games and injuries, his faith in God helped him push through the hard times. “It wasn’t about the money: it wasn’t about the far the league brought me,” he said. “It was about Him.”

After speaking in the Chapel, Stover spoke to business students about his post NFL career success in business, and gave them tips on how to follow in his footsteps, including providing encouragement to always have ethics no matter what business practices they get involved in.
