Lebron-JamesLebron James loves Miami, and his new Nike commercial shows us all exactly what he loves so much about the town that has brought him back-to-back NBA titles. Dubbed “Training Day”, the commercial shows Lebron riding his bike through Miami’s streets, swimming in the ocean, training on the Heat practice court, jogging through the city and playing pickup basketball on an outdoor court. Throughout the video he is joined by many workout partners, many of them children, who participate in the activities with him. When asked about the meaning of the commercial James said, “the message was obvious – I want people to feel like they’re at one with me.”

The release of the commercial coincides with the release of this latest signature Nike shoe, the Lebron 11.

Lebron James is already one of the most storied basketball players in the history of the game. A two time NBA Champion and Finals MVP, James has also earned four NBA MVP awards, been voted an All-Star nine times, been named to the All-NBA First Team seven times, NBA All-Defensive First Team five times, and during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers he became the franchise all-time leading scorer in just seven seasons. In addition to his laundry list of accomplishments in the NBA has also led the US Men’s Basketball team to back-to-back Gold Medals in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games and was named the 2012 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year.
