It’s become the biggest craze right now among top athletes. No longer are the little ear buds producing enough music to pump up an athlete before the big moment. We’ve seen Beats by Dre to lead the pack, but many soon followed. SMS by 50 Cent, The House of Marley Headphones and now Soul by Ludacris have caught up in the hype. Headphone companies have been aggressively signing athletes for co-branding deals, with the latest being Jets quarterback Tim Tebow .
Len Davi, CMO of SOUL Electronics said, “Tebow is a perfect role model for our SOUL of Greatness campaign and our company. He is a relatable, hardworking overachiever who exemplifies true greatness and integrity on and off the football field.”
Tim Tebow’s “SOUL of Greatness” campaign is slated to debut late this summer, in which he will be sporting the sleek SL150 white headphones. The “SOUL of Greatness” video series, which launched in early June, is designed to inspire and demonstrate how dedication and focus help to enable the achievement of greatness.
“Before a game, I throw on my headphones and listen to music to help me get focused and motivated,” said Tim Tebow. “It’s why I’m so proud to be representing SOUL, helping spread the word that greatness can be achieved from within.”
He joins the likes of Usain Bolt and Dwight Howard among the athletes who have established a professional co-branded relationship with SOUL Electronics.
I bought my first pair of Soul Headphones about two months ago and use them everyday. The bass boost is amazing. Didn’t realize how much faster better sound could make you run. I think Soul is going to be extremely pleased with this Tebow partnership!
