Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Tim Worley has been selected to be a part of the 3rd Annual ACE Awards which it taking place on May 19 at 6:15pm at the Redemption World Outreach Center. The ACE Awards are designed to recognize young students in the grades of 6, 7, 8, and 12 who have accomplished a lot on their lives over the previous year. The winners are always great examples and role models of how to be a great contributing member of society, and they all have gone under some form of challenge in which they had to show their true character.
The former NFL player was picked to speak at the event, because he is a major advocate of never giving up and understands how difficult, but important, it is to overcome bad situations to open more doors to good opportunities. Worley had his own bout of trouble when he became involved with drugs during his career, and had to find a way to get over that and better himself from the lessons he learned in that time period of his life. In 2007 he was inducted into the Georgia-Florida Hall of Fame for his amazing performances that he did during his time on his college team, Georgia.
Worley will be speaking at this year’s 3rd ACE Awards at the Repletion World Outreach Center on May 19, and it is needless to say that he will be both awe inspiring and a profound role model to the youngsters who will be attending the event as receiving awards as well.
