The Los Angeles Dodgers adult baseball camp is returning to Dodgertown in Vero Beach, Florida on November 9-15, and this year it will feature Dodgers’ Hall of Fame Manager Tommy Lasorda as a guest instructor.
The Los Angeles Dodgers Adult Baseball Camp provides each camper the chance to experience what it’s like to be a big leaguer. During their weeks stay at Dodgertown they will be staying on the grounds, eating in the team dining room, and have access to the clubhouse and its various amenities. Complimentary transportation from local airports and memorabilia such as authentic home and road jerseys are also included in the $4,995 admission fee.
Lasorda has served six decades with the Dodgers organization in one capacity or another. His tenure with the organization makes him the longest non-continuous member of any organization in professional sports. During his career as a manager for the Dodgers he led the team to unprecedented success, and also had the privilege of coaching nine National League Rookie of the Year Award recipients. In 1997 he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame as a manager, and will forever be remembered as a true baseball guy, which is the highest compliment any baseball guy can receive.
