He served as the keynote speaker for this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers Conference where his own real estate firm called Sagamore Development was one of the main sponsors for the event. The ICSC brought in over 10,000 retailers, brokers, developers and landlords, and Plank was able to discuss how his company’s goals and accomplishments over the years. In addition to that, Sagamore also brought in free Wi-Fi and a whiskey tasting for everyone to enjoy at the conference.

The 2015 NBA Champion grew up in North Carolina due to his father, Dell Curry, also being a professional basketball player and was on the Charlotte Hornets at the time. Curry played for his high school team and eventually got a scholarship to Davidson College where he played for three years before entering the 2009 NBA Draft. He was selected as the 7th overall pick by the Golden State Warriors where he still plays today and has thrived with the team in extraordinary ways. The 2015 season was one of his best yet as he lead the Warriors to the championship and won, as well as earning the title of the NBA Most Valuable Player and the NBA Three-Point Shootout champion.

Blank was in New York City in early December to be the keynote speaker at this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers conference.
