Planters 'Shout For Nuts' Featuring Jim HarbaughUniversity of Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh has recently landed a new endorsement deal with the brand Planters, one of America’s favorite nut companies. The coach has openly been a long time major fan of Mr. Peanut and the Planters products, so it was a great collaboration and opportunity for him and the company. The Michigan coach was featured in a commercial where he was in a “Shout for Nuts” promotion that launched recently on March 21st around the country and showed him trying to get his voice at a loud enough decibel to make the peanuts fall out of a vending machine on their own. Over the next few weeks, be sure to keep an eye out for Harbaugh in his peanut advertisement.

Before he was a head coach, Harbaugh was also a football player for his university, Michigan, which he now coaches. He was selected in the first round of the 1987 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears where he played from 1987-1993, and then until his final game on the field he also bounced between the Colts, Ravens, Chargers, Lions and Panthers. After retiring from being a player, Harbaugh immediately transitioned into a coaching career which he has been doing ever since. He is most recognized for having his NFL team play against his brother’s in the Super Bowl XLVII, ultimately conceding the win.

Harbaugh has just teamed up with the Planters brand to film a commercial featuring his love and passion for peanuts. The coach has always been a huge fan of their products, and so this was a genuine way for him to endorse one of his favorite snacks. Be sure to look for him on your screens in the near future.
