University of Georgia athletic director Vince Dooley is going to be speaking at the “Right From the Start” hosted program on June 13. The event is one which promotes its All Pro Dad program that encourages men to put extra time into interacting with their children and to keep up with their job as a role model. The “Dinner With Dooley” with benefit “Right From the Start” and include a meal, speaking program, and tickets to the Columbus Lions game occurring that night. Everything will begin at 5:30 p.m. and tickets will cost $50, so be sure to purchase them in advance if you plan on going.
Dooley’s 25 year career as a coach for the University of Georgie led him to win six Southeastern Conference titles and even the 1980 national championship, which also led him to winning the “Coach of the Year” award by more than one organization. In addition to that, Dooley was the very first recipient of the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Award. Football seems to be a sport that runs in the family as the coach’s young brother Bill was a head college coach for many years, and his son Derek is a current wide receivers coach for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL.
Dooley will be speaking at the All Pro Dad event, “Dinner With Dooley” that is hosted later this month by the “Right From the Start” organization. It will be a fantastic and fun experience for all, and help men bond over celebrating their fatherhood.
